Hello all! I'm very pleased to announce the sort of return of my recurring mixes which I call the "Mix of the Moment"! Unlike the Peep of the Week, these mixes will only be a few minutes in length and usually only blend together one or two songs. Also, I stress the "moment" aspect of this as there will be no regular schedule as to when something will get uploaded here to stream. It could be fleeting... it could be eternal...
Since I've left this section of the website unaltered for quite some time, I have not one but TWO new mixes for y'all.
The first is a mix between "Pump It" by the Black Eyed Peas and the music from the "Green Hill Zone" in Sonic the Hedgehog. I know I already have a mix using the BEP song but one day I decided that this other one needed to happen. I'm a big fan of video game blends and this may be one of my favorites that I've ever done.
The second is a mix using "Bird Flu" by M.I.A. and various samples from the movie Akira. I think the whole primal aspect of the song works really well with the whole theme of the score from the movie. Akira's music was supposed to be what they thought the future would sound like, but since the film was made in the 80s, it sounds kind of like nothing I've ever heard before. Also, this mix is LOUD and NOISY. Be prepared for that if you're listening to it.
